How this calculator works

Load volume is estimated from approximate item volumes, with extra space for packing and fragile items, and a realistic share of the truck that can actually be filled.
The vehicle suggested is the smallest one whose estimated capacity covers your load. It is an estimate, not a guaranteed fit, and we show whether a partner has confirmed they operate that vehicle.
Prices come only from pricing rules set by ShiftKaro's team. If something you selected isn't priced, we say so and ask partners to quote — we never make up a number.
Nothing is saved unless you click "Save my move" or request quotes.

Moving cost FAQs

Why does the calculator sometimes say "Quote required"?

We only show a number when our team has configured reliable pricing for that type of move and every service you selected. If something isn’t priced — or an intercity route has no verified road distance — we ask partners to quote rather than guess.

What is not included in the estimate?

Unless your mover says otherwise: toll and parking charges, society entry fees, long carries from the parking spot to your door, wooden crating, storage and transit insurance.

Do I need to enter my phone number to see an estimate?

No. The calculator does not ask for your name or phone number. You only share contact details if you choose to request quotes.
